Pamela Huerter, MD, and Kelleen DaSilva

Pamela Huerter received both her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Kansas. She did her residency training in family medicine at Atlanta Medical Center in Atlanta. As part of her training, she completed a three-year course in Community-Oriented Primary Care and received awards for her research in the use of alternative medicine.
 

A native Kansan, Dr. Huerter was thrilled when asked to return to Lawrence to join the practice at Lawrence Family Medicine & Obstetrics. Married to fellow physician Eric, she is the proud mother of three sons: Finnegan, Maxwell and Jack.

Her trusted associate, Kelleen DaSilva joined Dr. Huerter in May 2008. She has been working in the nursing field since 1999, and truly loves her job and helping others. She is married to Guil and they have a daughter, Isabella, and two dogs.
