Lori Hougham, DO, and Morgen Townley

Lori Hougham and her nurse, Morgen Townley, started working at Lawrence Family Medicine & Obstetrics in July 2004. They have developed a close professional and personal relationship, which has made them a wonderful addition to the practice.
 

Dr. Hougham graduated from Northeast Missouri State University (now known as Truman State University) in 1995 with a bachelor's degree in Biology. After that she worked in the medical field prior to entering the University of Health Sciences/College of Osteopathic Medicine, from which she graduated in 2001. In 2004, she completed her family medicine residency at Truman Medical Center through the University of Missouri at Kansas City.

Dr. Hougham is involved in the Lawrence community through Altrusa, a professional woman’s service organization that supports local literacy projects. She grew up in Kansas City and enjoys visiting her family, which includes three sisters and two nephews. Morgen Townley graduated from the University of Kansas in 1998. In 2000 she began the pursuit of her nursing degree from Neosho County Community College, earning an associate degree in 2003. She is married and has two beautiful children.
